She was born March 29, 1893 on a farm in Marshall County Kan where she spent her childhood. Read More	OBITUARY; 19 Nov 1992 Ruth B March, 99, of Barneston, died Thursday, Nov 19, 1992 at the Wymore Good Samaritan Center. She was born March 29, 1893 on a farm in Marshall County Kan where she spent her childhood. She received her normal training at Emporia Kan Teacher's College and taught at several rural schools in Marshall County. She married John F, March on June 12, 1919, at Marysville Kan. Following her marriage she lived on farms near Oketo, Kan., then on the state line before moving to a farm near Barneston in 1930. She moved to the Wymore Good Samaritan Center in 1979. She was a member of the Barneston Presbyterian Church and was a past President of the Women's Circle of the church. Whe was a 62 year member and past matron of Martha Chapter 42, OES [Order of the Eastern Star], American Legion Auxilliary Post 356 and the Progressive Club, all at Barneston and the Royal Neighbors at Oketo. She is survived by her son, Ronald March, and his wife; Darlene of Barneston; by 3 grandchildren, Teresa March Huzeker, Ronnie Scott March and Rhonda March; and by 1 sister, Fern Olmstead of Marysville, Kan. She was preceeded in death by her parents, C. Leonard and Lucy (Shores) Willey; by her husband, John on Jan 17, 1984; by an infant son, Jackie; and by 5 brothers and an infant sister. Funeral services were held at 2 pm Saturday, Nov 21, 1992 at the Barneston Presbyterian Church, the Rev Joe Barr officiating. Burial was at the Liberty Cemetery. Memorial to the church with Emma Rees in charge. Laughlin-Hovet Funeral Home, Wymore was in charge of arrangements.
