She was born Sep 12, 1921 near Castlewood, the daughter of Melvin H. and Ella (Holthe) Ching. She attended school in the Castlewood area, graduating from Castlewood High School in 1939. She then worked at the Castlewood Creamery for a time. On Sep 16, 1941 she married John Jungers, Sr. The couple lived and farmed northeast of Castlewood until retiring and moving to Watertown in Sep of 1991. She was a loving mother and devoted homemaker, enjoying sewing, gardening and family get-togethers. She and her husband enjoyed dancing and she belonged to several local women's groups. Second to none though was her enjoyment of babysitting and taking care of her grandchildren. Since living in Watertown she was a member of Holy Name Parish. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, Sr. Survivors include her children, Dianne Givens of Clark, Janice (Ron) DeWall of Loretto, Minn., John "Jack" Jungers of Watertown, Jerry (Cindy) Jungers of Milbank, and Sandy (Mike) Junso of Watertown; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert (Shirley) Ching of Estelline. ~ Obituary from "The Watertown Public Opinion", 02 Apr 2011
