A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 23, at First United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Danview Cemetery. Ruth was born October 22, 1924, to the late Worthie Pannell and Ruth Washington Johnston Law. She was retired from Fieldcrest Mills and had worked as a caregiver for numerous elderly friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, James Setliff; sisters, Lillie Law Barnard and Hazel Law Kirks; brothers, Marshall Law, Russell Law, Wash Law, and Curtis Law.
