Interment was made in Grace Hill cemetery. Ruth Esther Storrs was born in Hawarden Nov 16, 1890 and she has always made her home in this vicinity. She graduated from the Hawarden high school with the class of 1910, and for several years was a successful teacher of the schools of the county. She was untied in marriage to John A. Keehn Jan. 12, 1915. Since their marriage they have resided on a farm southwest of Hawarden. Besides her heart broken husband an infant daughter she leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Storrs and three brothers and one sister to mourn her death. Hers was a beautiful young life now gone out when it would have been the sweetest. She was the idol of her parents, the cherished love of her husband, and the guiding spirit for sister and brothers and others with whom she came in contact. She had abiding faith in the Heavenly Father and prayed to him to protect the innocent life for which she willingly sacrificed her own. While all extend sincere sympathy to the bereaved ones in their hour of sadness it is truly a time when words fail to assuage the heart pangs and stay the tears.
