She was born on January 20, 1938 in Alamance County, daughter of the late Gorman and Grace Hinshaw Andrews. In 1960 she moved to Randolph County, when she married Isaac “Ray” Farlow, he passed away in 2004. She was a graduate of the High Point Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, and later went to work for High Point Infant and Child Care Clinic(now Cornerstone), and retired after 45 years of service. She was a dedicated to her profession as an RN, and she loved taking care of the children, and the Doctors. She was a faithful member of Marlboro Friends Meeting for 65 plus years, where she was a member of the choir, Friends in Motion Circle, and served on the Ministry and Council. Gerry enjoyed crocheting, antiquing, and later in life, making greeting cards. Her true love and passion was spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, and will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents and husband, preceding her in death were her brothers, David and James Andrews. She is survived by her sons, Terry Farlow and his wife, Sharon, Paul Farlow and his wife, Maria, Dean Farlow and his wife, Amy; her sisters, Marie Pike, Evelyn Thomas and her husband, Joe; her brothers, Joe Andrews and his wife, Betty, Dwain Andrews and his wife, Margaret. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Hannah, Seth, Maggie, Allison, Kyle, Isaac and Aldyn and 5 great grandchildren. Services will be private.
