Cox, both of Ottumwa; a son Duane E. Heckart of Ottumwa; three grandchildren, Lee (Trisha) Porter, Derek and Desirae Cox; five great grandchildren, Alan Porter, Kristy Alter, Kortney Porter, Tara Porter, Hadass (Ankit) Negi; two great-great- grandchildren, Brandon Alter and Bruce Stock; a sister, Goldie M. Applegate of Ottumwa and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Elmer and Frank Box; a sister, Ellen Woodruff. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Reece Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ottumwa Cemetery. Visitation will begin 11 a.m. Thursday with the family present from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday.
