Description	:	WEST POINT -- The funeral for Ruth Groth, 78, of West Point will be 10 a.m. Monday at Kuzelka-Minnick Funeral Chapel in West Point. She died Thursday, March 21, 2002, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point. Ruth Grunke was born July 18, 1923, in West Point. She attended Cuming County Rural School District 3 and West Point High School, graduating in 1940. She was employed briefly by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington D.C. in the early 1940s. She returned to West Point. She was employed by the Farmer's Union of West Point. She married... Read More	WEST POINT -- The funeral for Ruth Groth, 78, of West Point will be 10 a.m. Monday at Kuzelka-Minnick Funeral Chapel in West Point. She died Thursday, March 21, 2002, at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point. Ruth Grunke was born July 18, 1923, in West Point. She attended Cuming County Rural School District 3 and West Point High School, graduating in 1940. She was employed briefly by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington D.C. in the early 1940s. She returned to West Point. She was employed by the Farmer's Union of West Point. She married Erwin Groth on June 15, 1952, in West Point. She was a member of Women's Touch, American Legion Post 70 Auxiliary of West Point, West Point Women's Civic Club (serving as president in 1950-1951) and E.O.P.S. Bowling Team. Survivors include: her husband; three sons, Jim (and wife, Marilee) Groth of Oakland, Scott Groth of West Point and Stanley (and wife, Jean) Groth of Pilger; a daughter, Mary Sue Groth of Madision, Tenn.; two grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Ardene Grunke of Scribner. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. The Rev. Randy Brotzman will officiate Monday's service. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 8:30 a.m. to service time. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in West Point.
