Description	:	Ruth Marguerite Wentzell, Lunenburg, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 15, 1999 at Fishermen's Memorial Hospital. Born in Riverport, she was a daughter of the late Talmadge and Rebecca (Wentzell) Reinhardt of Riverport. She was predeceased by her husband Capt. Josiah (Joey) Wentzell; sister Florence Reinhardt; and brothers Watson and Rogers Reinhardt; and several nieces. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who truly enjoyed life and her love, support and strong family and community values will continue to live in all those left to mourn her death. Born in Riverport, she was a daughter of the late Talmadge and Rebecca (Wentzell) Reinhardt of Riverport. She was predeceased by her husband Capt. Josiah (Joey) Wentzell; sister Florence Reinhardt; and brothers Watson and Rogers Reinhardt; and several nieces. She was actively involved in various religious and community groups in both Riverport and Lunenburg. She is survived by a daughter Dorothy McEvay, Brunswick, Maine; a son James, and wife Sue, Kentville; three grandchildren Elizabeth, Christine and Rebecca; and two great-grandchildren Josiah and Madeline. The funeral service was held April 17, 1999 in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lunenburg, with Rev. Douglas Moore and Rev. James Slack, Sr. officiating. Interment was in Shepherd's Hill Cemetery, Riverport, beside her husband Joey. **************************************** CARD OF THANKS: The family of the late Ruth M. Slack, Sr., along with the doctors, nurses and other staff of Fishermen's Memorial Hospital who made her stay comfortable while in the hospital, which had been her first time admitted to a health care facility.
