Description	:	Ruth Mildred Graham, the daughter of Charles and Minnie (Judy) Busch was born July 12, 1912 on a farm southwest of Davenport, Nebraska in Nuckolls County. She departed this life on Wednesday, Aug. 1,2001, at the Rose Brook Care Center in Edgar, Nebraska at the age of 89 years. Ruth graduated from Davenport High School with the class of 1929. Read More	Ruth Mildred Graham, the daughter of Charles and Minnie (Judy) Busch was born July 12, 1912 on a farm southwest of Davenport, Nebraska in Nuckolls County. She departed this life on Wednesday, Aug. 1,2001, at the Rose Brook Care Center in Edgar, Nebraska at the age of 89 years. Ruth graduated from Davenport High School with the class of 1929. She taught at a country school north of Davenport for two years. On Oct. 26, 1930, Ruth was united in marriage to Vernard Graham at Mankato, Kansas. The couple farmed southeast of Edgar for 43 years. After the death of her husband, Ruth moved to Edgar to retire. After moving into Edgar, Ruth was employed at the Edgar Variety Store for several years. She took great pride in the new house she had built soon after moving into Edgar. Ruth enjoyed gardening and taking care of her lawn. She enjoyed traveling and had visited Mexico, Hawaii and had taken a cruise and several bus trips to visit friends. Ruth, in her spare time, did crocheting, doing embroidery work and was always willing to try anything new. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Vernard, brothers, Lloyd Busch and wife, Lillian, Virgil Busch and wife Ida, sister, Verda Busch and a niece, Betty Jean Busch. Survivors include her sister, Verna Roselius and husband Cleon of Albuquerque, New Mexico; nephews, James Busch and wife Dixie of Mission Hill, South Dakota; Roger Busch and wife Linda of Round Lake, Illinois; Wayne Roselius and wife Shirley of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Kenneth Roselius and wife Wendy of Huntington Beach, California; Scot Roselius of Zumbrota, Minn.; a niece Dorothy Schuessler and husband Norman of Monticello, Georgia; other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 6, 2001, at 10:30 a.m. at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Edgar. Pastor James Busch officiated. Burial was in the Edgar Cemetery, Edgar. Williams Funeral Home of Edgar is in charge of the arrangements.
