She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Curtis and she was born April 9, 1892, being past 35 years of age at death. She was wedded to Charles Shaffer and to them was born one daughter, now seven years of age. The body was brought to Churdan on Monday, where a funeral occurred that afternoon. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Curtis and she was born April 9, 1892, being past 35 years of age at death. She was wedded to Charles Shaffer and to them was born one daughter, now seven years of age. The body was brought to Churdan on Monday, where a funeral occurred that afternoon. For several years the deceased had been in frail health. While a young girl she gave her heart to her Savior and was already acting in Sunday school and church work when her health would permit. She leaves to mourn her departure, besides her husband who is a civil engineer with the State highway Commission at Jefferson City, Mo., and her daughter Ella, a father and mother, six sisters and two brothers and many other relatives and friends, All of her immediate family were present at the funeral except one sister, Miss Inez Curtis, who is teacher in the public schools at Raymond, Montana. and was unable to be present.
