Description	:	Orlando, Florida Ruth Wimer Mauzy, 77, of Orlando, died Wednesday, October, 6, 1999. She was born April 21, 1922 in Blue Grass, Virginia, the daughter of the late Frank C. and Bonnie K. Wimer. Mrs. Mauzy, a homemaker, who lived most of her life in Highland County, Virginia, resided the last several years in the Orlando area. She is survived by two sons, James Mauzy of Orlando, Florida and Randy Mauzy of Cincinnati, Ohio; one granddaughter Kristen and one great granddaughter Abigail Brown, also of Orlando. She was born April 21, 1922 in Blue Grass, Virginia, the daughter of the late Frank C. and Bonnie K. Wimer. Mrs. Mauzy, a homemaker, who lived most of her life in Highland County, Virginia, resided the last several years in the Orlando area. She is survived by two sons, James Mauzy of Orlando, Florida and Randy Mauzy of Cincinnati, Ohio; one granddaughter Kristen and one great granddaughter Abigail Brown, also of Orlando. In addition, she is survived by three sisters; Kathryn Mauzy of Harrisonburg, Virginia, Janet Pulley of Springfield, Virginia and Dorothy Hevener of Hightown, Virginia. On July 11, 1942, she married James L. Mauzy, who preceded her in death in September 1985. Three brothers, Miller, Alfred and Eugene Wimer and two sisters, Margaret Hull and Virginia Hammer also preceded her in death. She is a member of the Monterey United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 16 at Obuagh Funeral Home in McDowell by the Reverend Richard S. Gibson with interment to follow the service at Blue Grass Cemetery.
