She was born in Ottumwa June 12, 1912, the daughter of Roy E. and Mae Evans Lovell. She had been a registered nurse since 1935, and served as a first-lieutenant with the 5th Army in Africa and Italy during World War II. She was born in Ottumwa June 12, 1912, the daughter of Roy E. and Mae Evans Lovell. She had been a registered nurse since 1935, and served as a first-lieutenant with the 5th Army in Africa and Italy during World War II. She had worked at St. Joseph, Ottumwa and Davis County hospitals. She entered the Army Nov. 9, 1942, at Ottumwa, and was discharged April 25, 1946, at Ft. Sheridan, Ill. She was a member of Davis Street Christian Church and Order of Eastern Star 112. Survivors include one brother, Edgar of Ottumwa; two nieces; three nephews; and 11 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. Funeral services will be at Johnson Funeral Chapel, Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Paul Beaver of Trinity Nazarene Church officiating. Schuyler, who died Sunday at 7:45 p.m. at the Davis County Hospital in Bloomfield, will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Paul Beaver of Trinity Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Seaburg, Kermit and Eddie Uhde, Amel Matheney and Jack and Ronald Fosdyck. The casket will be closed at the beginning of the service.
