She was baptized in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Postville on June 25, 1889 and confirmed April 5, 1903. She was baptized in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Postville on June 25, 1889 and confirmed April 5, 1903. She died at the Community Memorial Hospital on November 8, 1964, following an extended illness, at the age of 75 years, 10 months and 23 days. She was married to Otto Oldag on February 25, 1913. The couple began farming in Grand Meadow township, Clayton county, and remained on this farm until 1946, when they moved to town. To this union was born one son. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband; one son, Milton Oldag, of Postville; one sister, Melinda, Mrs. Damond Meyer, of Postville; and many other relatives and friends. She was a member of the Grand Meadow Country Club and a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, being active in both organizations as long as health permitted. Funeral services were held in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Postville, on Wednesday, November 11, at 1:30 p. m. Interment was in the Postville cemetery with The Rev. Charles E. Witt, Pastor of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, officiating.
