She and Jay Gould, married May 4, 1911. at Marshalltown, farmed the same place near Liscomb for 63 years. After his death in 1974, she went to Oakview Nursing Home at Conrad. She was a member of and long-time Sunday School teacher at the Liscomb church, belonged to Grumme Rebekah Lodge No. 460 at Liscomb and was a past president of the Iowa State Button Society. For many years, she was a leader of the Liscomb Jolly Janes 4-H Club. Surviving are two sons. Clair and Neil Gould. both of rural Liscomb, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
