Being baptized in the name of the Triune God in her infancy, Mrs. Eisher became a member of St. James Lutheran church, Victor, in June of 1960. Read More	Source: The Victor Record 2/21/1963 RITES FOR SADIE EISHER HELD LAST THURSDAY Mrs. Sadie Eisher was born Dec. 19, 1884 in Lincoln Township, the daughter of William Lane and his wife Phoebe nee Rice. Being baptized in the name of the Triune God in her infancy, Mrs. Eisher became a member of St. James Lutheran church, Victor, in June of 1960. On Aug. 22, 1900 Mrs. Eisher was united in marriage to Christian Eisher, to which union two sons Leo and John, and one daughter, Ada (Mrs. Wenger) were born. Most of her life was spent in Lincoln Township, with the last 11 years being lived in Victor. On Tuesday, Feb. 12, 1963 Mrs. Eisher died in the Community hospital in Grinnell at the age of 78. Mrs. Eisher was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, one sister, and by three grandchildren. She is survived by two sons Leo of Brooklyn and John of Cedar Rapids; by her daughter Ada (Mrs. Wenger) of Brooklyn; her brother Ed of Sigourney; her adopted brother Dale of What Cheer; seven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Eisher were held Thursday, Feb. 14 at 2:30 p.m. at the McAninch Chapel, with the Rev. H. W. Biberdorf of St. James Lutheran Church, Victor, officiating. Mrs. Cloyd Lyman served as organist and Mrs. H. W. Biberdorf sang "The Old Rugged Cross." Casket bearers were Rudy Meyer, Alva Neitzel, Frank Peska, Russell Myers, Clyde Provin and Howard Hicks. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Victor.
