Her son-in-law, Harrison Melton [Milton], who was taken sick before Mrs. Brown took down, passed away Sunday evening, March 5. The Meltons [Miltons] lived near the Brown home. Annie E. Jones was born in England in 1812 immigrating to America when 14 years old and coming direct to Omaha. She was married in 1857 to Nelson Brown and they lived in Omaha and other p laces until 1874, when they moved to the farm where the family has since resided. Twelve children were born to them, nine of whom still live. The husband and father died February 12, 1900. The children living are: Mrs. Louis Yeager, Valley; Mrs. Herbert Robinson, Mrs. Melton [Milton] and Richard Melton, living in the country; W. R. Brown, Springfield, Neb.; Mrs. T. A. Hicks, Spokane, Wash.; Mrs. Will Moninger, Almera, Loup county, Neb.; George Brown, St. Joseph, Mo.; Mrs. Eliza Brown, Independence, Mo. Funeral services were held Sunday at 1 o'clock at the house, Elder Self of Omaha officiating. Mrs. Brown was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints and was a devoted christian woman, a beloved mother and faithful wife. A large number of friends and neighbors attended the services. Interment was at Prospect Hill cemetery. Harrison Melton [Milton] was born near Bennington and was 41 years old at the time of his death. His wife and five children mourn his loss as a kind husband and devoted father. The case is peculiarly sad for the wife, losing her mother and husband so near together, and she has the sympathy of all in her deep sorrow. Funeral services were held at the Brown home Tuesday at 2 o'clock, Elder Self officiating. Burial was at Prospect Hill cemetery. Cobb, former Valley resident who died at her home at Laramie, Wyoming will arrive at the Swanson Funeral home here today. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary under the direction of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burial will be in Prospect Hill cemetery near Elkhorn. Mrs. Cobb was born in Douglas county, and lived there until 1917 when she moved to Laramie to make her home. She came back to Valley every summer for a visit. Besides her husband, A. W. Cobb of Laramie; there are two sons, Floyd Milton of Laramie and Howard Milton of Wheatland, Wyoming; a daughter, Mrs. Clover J. Bolton of Winner, South Dakota; two brothers, George M. Brown of Omaha and William R. Brown of Antioch, Nebraska; five sisters, Mrs. William Hanaway of Independence, Missouri, Mrs. William Moninger of Burwell, Nebraska, Mrs. T. A. Hicks and Mrs. L. R. COBB DIES AT HER HOME at LARAMIE, WYOMING Sadie Sophia Cobb, 70, wife of A. W. Cobb of Laramie, Wyoming and resident of Kimball county until 15 years ago, died shortly before 9 o'clock Sunday night at a Laramie hospital. Her body was sent to Waterloo, Nebraska on Tuesday for burial. Mrs. Cobb was born in Omaha on March 1, 1870. Her husband, A. W. Cobb, is a retired rancher. The couple had lived in Laramie for six years, making their home at 663 North Fifth street. ( Mr. and Mrs. Cobb formerly lived near Kimball. At one time northwest and later southwest of town. )
