Read More	Mrs. Sally Virginia Ward Passed Away Wednesday Mrs. Sally Virginia Ward, highly esteemed matron of Crisfield, passed away Wednesday, October 13th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edward Lauterbach, in Washington, D.C. She was 91 years of age. Mrs. Ward was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ellen Evans Mosher, of Dorchester County, Md. After the death in 1939 of her husband, Matthew Ward, a seafood dealer, Mrs. Ward had made her home with her son, Mr. Lewis Ward, on State street. About a month ago she suffered a broken hip and was taken to the home of her daughter in Washington, where she received treatment, but succumbed Wednesday as the result of her injuries and complications. Mrs. Ward was a woman of fine character, an excellent neighbor and friend, who had been helpful to many people during her long life, and was held in high regard and affection by a wide circle of friends and acquaintances. She had been a member of Asbury Methodist Church for years, and enjoyed its work and services as long as she was physically able to attend the meetings there. She will rest at the Bradshaw Funeral Parlors, and friends may call after Friday from 11:00 A.M. until 10:00 P.M. She will be moved to Asbury Methodist Church at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, where friends may view her body until 2:00 P.M., at which time funeral services will be conducted by Bev. L.E. Werner, pastor of the church. Interment will be in the Asbury cemetery. Bearers will be members of the Men's Bible Class of Asbury Church. Surviving her are three children, Lewis Ward and Isaac Ward, of Crisfield, and Mrs. Lauterbach, of Washington, D.C.
