At the age of nine he came with his parents to Macon County, ill., coming on to Kansas in 1876. April 22, 1877, he was married to Mary Edgecomb. To them were born 9 children. Ulery was born in Saint Joseph County, Indiana, in 1885. At the age of nine years he came with his parents to Macon County, Illinois, coming on to Kansas in 1876. On April 22, 1877, he was united in marriage to Mary Edgecomb. To this union were born nine children, three dying in infancy. His wife preceded him April 10, 1909. He passed away Dec. 16, 1917, age 63 years and two weeks. He leaves to mourn his departure, four sons and two daughters, seven grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters.
