Description	:	Husband of Mary Jane and father of Herbert W. Warrington and Robert D. Warrington. Samuel Warrington, second son of Samuel and Elizabeth Dixon Warrington of Brampton, England, was born February 16, 1847. He arrived in the Janesville, Wisconsin area in 1863, and later returned to England, to return to Janesville in 1865. Samuel married Mary Jane Attlesey, born October 10, 1858, in 1883, and lived in Janesville before coming to Mitchell County where they bought 40 acres east of St. Ansgar, near his brother Charles' farm. Samuel Warrington, second son of Samuel and Elizabeth Dixon Warrington of Brampton, England, was born February 16, 1847. He arrived in the Janesville, Wisconsin area in 1863, and later returned to England, to return to Janesville in 1865. Samuel married Mary Jane Attlesey, born October 10, 1858, in 1883, and lived in Janesville before coming to Mitchell County where they bought 40 acres east of St. Ansgar, near his brother Charles' farm. Samuel and Mary Jane lived on this farm until Samuel's death January 12, 1917 and Mary Jane sold the farm and moved to Mitchell, where she made her home until her death February 22, 1947. Both Samuel and Mary Jane are buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Mitchell, along with a small son Herbert. Samuel had nine brothers and two sisters, all born in England, Charles, John and Daniel farmed in Mitchell County. John later moved to Becker, Minnesota, and from there to Loverna, Saskatchewan, Canada. Benjamin came to Ft. Madison, Henry (Harry) arrived in Wisconsin where he enlisted in the U.S. Army in January 1867 and died later the same year at Ft. Rice, Dakota Territory. Another brother, Joseph came with his wife and children from England to Wisconsin where they lived a few years before returning to England. Samuel and Mary Jane were parents of four children: Robert, born Jan 16, 1887; Elizabeth, born Oct. 16, 1889; Herbert, born March 9. 1892 and died in 1897; and Ada, born July 11, 1901. Two infants were born previous to Robert and were buried in the farm grove. Robert attended Fairview School, Mitchell High School, and a bookkeeping school in Austin, MN. He married Nettie Koch and they were parents to Leonard and Mildred. Leonard married Leona Shallock and Mildred married James Warrington. Robert farmed, did carpenter work, worked in banks, a lumber yard, served in World War I stationed in Europe and later established a tree nursery in Mitchell. He died October 1, 1980 and is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Mitchell. Elizabeth attended Fairview School and Mitchell High School, graduating in 1907. She taught school in Rock Township, and Otranto, both in Mitchell County. She married Rasmus Skuster Jan 20, 1910 and they farmed for a year west of Mitchell, and then moved to a farm east of Mitchell where they lived until Rasmus' death in 1962. Elizabeth moved to Osage. Their children were Gladys Skuster, Glenda Skuster Steinhilber, Galen (Doc) Skuster, George Skuster, and Gordon Skuster. Elizabeth died in 1972 and is buried beside Rasmus in Oak Grove Cemetery in Mitchell. Ada attended Fairview School, Mitchell High School, Cedar Valley Seminary and Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls. She taught four years, and then married Benneville B. Bower in 1922. They were farmers and later bought a farm west of Mitchell. Leonard Warrington made his home with them for several years as did Herbert Bower. After Ben's death (1962) Ada moved to Osage and later married Leslie Govier. He died in 1974. Robert had no grandchildren nor did Ada. Elizabeth had 12 grandchildren. Glenda Skuster Steinhilber, a daughter, Jean, married to Alex Lewis, parents of Jason, Galen (Doc) and Ruth Evelyn Levers, three sons, James and Charlotte White Skuster, two daughters, Eileen and Patricia. Robert and Judy Carlson Skuster, a daughter Kristina. George and Bertha Alice Hungerford's daughter, Myra, and James Dickson, two sons, Jeff and J.D., Mark and Jane Kimball Skuster, a daughter Sara Elizabeth. Gordon and Gloria Ellefson, five sons, Eric and Patricia Mueller Skuster, a son Christopher, David and Janis Schultz Skuster, two daughters, Kimberly and Kara, Paul and Ann Beine Skuster, a daughter Cassandra (Casie) and a son Nathan.
