Sandra Faye (Bode) Lanz was born on April 4, 1960 to Donald and Marjorie (Westerhold) Bode in West Point, NE. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wisner, NE. Sandra attended Wisner Public School, graduating from Wisner-Pilger High School in 1978. She was employed with State Farm Insurance in Lincoln, NE, Ortmeier & Associates Insurance in Wisner, Pender Public Schools and was a caregiver in the Pender area for the last several years. On August 25, 1989, she was united in marriage to Mike Lanz in Clarkson, NE. Sandra loved her animals and enjoyed doing cross stitch, which she shared with family and friends. She loved spending time with family and friends. Over the last several weeks, Sandra was blessed with family and friends that made for a joyous journey. Survivors include- Husband-Mike Lanz of Thurston, NE Mother-Marjorie Bode of Wisner, NE Sister-Barb and Jim Mack of Lincoln, NE Brother-Brian Bode of Bentonville, AR Mother-in-law-Peggy Lanz of Omaha, NE Brother-in-law-Tom and Pat Lanz of Omaha, NE Nephews, Niece and family- Ben and Anna Troester and children-Jamison & Preston Adam and Kirsten Troester and daughter-Zoey Jesse and Kelly Lanz and children-Harper & Ryland Kate and Justin Lasmett and children-Lexie & Brooks Sandra was preceded in death by her father-Donald, and a sister-Cindy.
