Description	:	WILTON — Sandra L. Bartow "Grandma Farm," 65, Wilton, died unexpectedly in her home on the morning of May 8, 2010. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, at Calvary United Methodist Church, 609 N. 34th St., Bismarck, with the Rev. Joel Winckler officiating. Burial will be held at 5:30 p.m. at Bethel United Methodist Cemetery, north of Wilton. Sandy was born June 7, 1944, in Bismarck, to Rudy and Ella (Gessele) Berg. Sandy was raised on her family's farm north of Wilton and graduated from Wilton High School. After high school, she worked for the North Dakota Highway Department, where she met her husband, Jerry. They were married April 22, 1967, and made their home north of Wilton. Sandy farmed and raised dairy cattle, chickens and sheep. Later, she worked at the Comfort Inn, Bismarck, and most recently Redwood Village in Wilton. Sandy enjoyed life and all it had to offer. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Sandy was a mother and friend to everyone who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Gerald, Wilton; children, Jody Vetter (Dave), Bismarck, Melanie Bartow (Jimmy), Denver, Shelley Bartow-Kalmbach (Scott), Lignite, and Luke, Wilton; grandsons, Wylie and Braysen Vetter; granddaughter and best friend, Maya Thrall; mother, Ella Berg, Wilton; brothers, Don Berg and Terry Berg (Norma), Wilton; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
