Read More	Obituary from the Milford Mail: Mrs. Sarah Nattrass, wife of our esteemed townsman, W. H. Nattrass, was found dead in her bed last Sunday morning. She had retired, with her young babe, on Saturday evening, in apparent usual health. One of the older children being unwell, the father and husband occupied a separate room with it, and when death came to the wife and mother none of the family were conscious of it. The wailing of the babe for the attention of the mother that had always so tenderly heeded its every cry, summoned the oldest daughter to the bedside to find her beloved parent cold in death. The deceased had at time been subjected to heart trouble, and to sudden heart failure is attributed the cause of her death. The funeral, which was attended by a large proportion of the population of the town, and many friends from a distance, was held on Tuesday afternoon. We can pay no higher tribute to the deceased than by quoting from the funeral sermon preached by the Rev. E. M. Glasgow as follows: Mrs. Sarah Nattrass was born May 17, 1851, and was almost 42 years of age at the time of her death. The father who watched the unfoldings of the mind in childhood is here today, and testifies to the kindly traits that characterized her early years. And as she grew to riper age she was ready to fulfill her part in the round of home duties, and always kind and faithful as a daughter. She was married to Wm. Nattrass in 1878, for whom she made a happy home for twenty years. And at no time in these yeas has she sought to slight the burdens that came to her in the home, but always insisted upon doing the utmost, even against the remonstrances of loved ones. As a wife she had that which is the charm of wife hood and the home, an affectionate nature, a heart in which dwelt love - a love that manifested itself in tenderness, devotion and kindness. As a mother she was all that motherhood means. She lived for her children; she literally builded her life into her children's future What a heritage is theirs! The speaker here paid a high tribute to the devoted religious life of the deceased, and spoke words of consolation and hope to the affected family, who have the sympathy of all in their deep sorrow.
