She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Petersville and later on in life she became a member of St Joseph Catholic Church in DeWitt. She is survived by one daughter of Maquoketa, Iowa; and one son of Elkader, Iowa; 32 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren. Preceding Sara in death were both her husbands, three of her children, Patrick and Thomas O'Meara and Geneva Weeks, two sisters, Elizabeth and Geneva, and numerous other relatives and friends.
