Hiller, 39, of Eden Prairie, Minn., was born June 27, 1957, in Independence, the daughter of Bernard and Mary Loretta McDowell Loughren. She attended local schools and graduated from East Buchanan High School, Winthrop, in 1975. She then attended Iowa State University, Ames. She attended local schools and graduated from East Buchanan High School, Winthrop, in 1975. She then attended Iowa State University, Ames. Sara married Steve Hiller on Oct. 8, 1977, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Monti. They made their home in Ames until 1986, when they moved to the Minneapolis area. They were the parents of three daughters: Morgan, Caitlin and Kelcie. Sara is survived by her mother, Mary Loretta Loughren of Masonville; Steve Hiller of Edina, Minn.; brothers and sisters: Richard (and Sheila) Loughren of Waterloo, Sister Mary Kay Loughren of Dougherty, Donald (and Gloria) Loughren of Walker, Sister Marjorie Loughren of Woodbury, Minn., James (and Lois) Loughren of Winthrop, Kenneth (and Elaine) Loughren of Ryan, Connie (and Greg) Fawcett of Winthrop, Janet (and Terry) Whitney of Fairfax, Michael (and Dianne) Loughren of Hazleton; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard Loughren, and nephew Chris; and died with special friend David LaDow. Morgan K. Hiller, 15; Caitlin K. Hiller, 10; and Kelcie K. Hiller, 8, all of Eden Prairie, are survived by: their father, Steve of Edina, Minn.; grandparents Keith Hiller of Wapello and Mary Loretta Loughren of Masonville; uncles and aunts: Larry Hiller, Shirley Eyres, Sandee Lippincott, Richard Loughren, Sister Mary Kay Loughren, Donald Loughren, Sister Marjorie Loughren, James Loughren, Kenneth Loughren, Connie Fawcett, Janet Whitney and Michael Loughren; and numerous cousins. They were preceded in death by their grandmother Martha Hiller, grandfather Bernard Loughren and cousin Chris. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Monti. Burial will take place later. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Fawcett Funeral Home, Winthrop.
