Obituary Sarah Aldah White died November 9th, 1911, at her home in Baltimore, Md., after an illness of a few weeks. She was born near Dickerson, August 2nd, 1854, and united in marriage with Nathan S. White December 17th, 1875, by whom she is survived. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. Besides her husband, she leaves two sisters to mourn her loss, Mrs. M. E. Fyffe, of Poolesville, Md., and Mrs. Carson Hyatt, of Herndon, Va. Also a host of friends and more distant relatives. For more than thirty-five years she remained a true, self-sacrificing and devoted wife. She was a kind and affectionate sister and a lovable aunt. She was always patient in her suffering ans so resigned to God's will that we have the assurance she is at rest. Oh! It is so sad when we think she will never again visit and brighten our homes, and that never again will she meet us at her door with that welcome smile and bid us enter and partake of all her comforts and kindnesses. Yet the glorious hope of the resurrection fives present triumph over the fear and gloom of death. And may we who are left behind realize before it is too late the importance of coming into God's fold and being ready when He calls, "For we know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of Man cometh." May He who deoth all things well help her bereaved husband to lean harder on Him who is able to sustain and in due time will wipe away all tears. When the voyage of life is ended, And the stormy winds shall cease, When we step from care and sorrow To eternal joy and peace; When we gather in the morning, And the long, long night is o'er, Then we'll clasp our hands united And our partings will come no more.
