Description	:	Sarah Sisk was the youngest daughter of Lawson Sisk and Sarah "Sally" Clevenger. She was a granddaughter of Revolutionary War veteran Bartlett Sisk, the first Sisk to settle in Cocke County, and a great-granddaughter of Thomas Clevenger, the first Clevenger to settle in Cocke County. Sarah had 10 older siblings. Two died in infancy. Three brothers (Branson, Carson, Addison) died in the Civil War, and a 4th (Bart, who moved to Mo.) was injured in the war. Two other brothers (Allen and Lawson) moved to Missouri. One sister (Elizabeth) moved to Texas.
