BYERS DIED YESTERDAY Funeral Services Will Be Held Tomorrow Afternoon In Ottumwa Mrs. Sarah Byers passed away yesterday morning at 11 o'clock at the home of her son C.S. Henness, south of the city. She has been in poor health for over a year. The body will be taken to Ottumwa tomorrow morning and funeral services will be held from Jay and Sullivan funeral parlors at 1:30 o'clock. Interment will be made in Evergreen cemetery. Mrs. Byers was born in Illinois in 1850, moving to Ottumwa when but a child and spending the remainder of her life in that city, with the exception of the last few days at the home of her son C.S. Henness. She is survived by two sons, William Byers of Ottumwa and C.S. Henness residing south of the city. Her husband died in 1921. Interment was made in the Ottumwa cemetery. Mrs. Byers passed away Thursday morning at the home of her son C.W. Henness, four and one-half miles south of this city.
