Description	:	Oskaloosa Independent, 18 July 1891 After years of suffering and helplessness, Mrs. Sarah Ann Bell, one of Oskaloosa's oldest residents, died last Saturday, the 11th inst., in the 74th year of her age. On Sunday the services were held at the Presbyterian church, conducted by Rev. Mr. Boyd, and a large procession of friends and acquaintances followed the remains to Pleasant View. Mr. Bell, who died in 1860, was a Cumberland Presbyterian preacher. Mrs. Bell was a good Christian woman, and bore her years of suffering with fortitude and patience, much of the time in an almost blind and deaf condition. Her death must have come as a great relief to the tired and worn body.
