When six years of age, she removed to Appanoosec County. Here she was married to Elias Wallen April 18, 1872. To this union were born nine children, of whom two died in infancy. Read More	The Edgar Sun (Edgar, NE) Fri, Feb 13, 1925 - Pg 1 Sarah Ann Lockman Daughter of Gabriel and Martha Lockman, was born in Drakeville, Davis County, Ia., October 23, 1856. When six years of age, she removed to Appanoosec County. Here she was married to Elias Wallen April 18, 1872. To this union were born nine children, of whom two died in infancy. She came to Nebraska in the spring of 1875 and located near Omaha coming to Clay County and settling close to Clay Center in 1889. In 1904 she came to Edgar which has been her home ever since. She was converted and united with the Christian Church when seven years of age and held to that faith at the time of her death. For two years she has been afflicted with heart trouble and during the latter part of that time bedfast. She fell asleep February 3, 1925, aged 68 years 3 months and 10 days, leaving to mourn her departure her husband, Mrs. Elias Wallen of this place, and seven sons John, Eary and Manuel of Edgar; Gabriel of Ogallala , Elwood of Atkinson; and Thomas and Stephen of Grand Island; With many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted from the late home in Edgar, Thursday, February 5, 1925, at 2:30 P.M. C. A. Shook officiating. Interment was made in the Edgar Cemetery. Deceased left four brothers W. A. Lockman, Hood River, Oregon; Davis Lockman, British Columbia; Steven A. Douglas Lockman, Arlington, Washington; S. H. Lockman, Arlington, Nebraska. She also left three sisters: Mrs. S. S.
