Description	:	Sarah Ann Thomas was born at Syracuse, Nebraska, January 25, 1897, and died at the hospital in Geneva, January 22, 1926, at the age of twenty-nine years, lacking three days. While yet an infant, her parents moved to Fillmore County and made their home near Geneva. She attended the country school and also went some to school in town. She was married to Lewis C. Read More	Sarah Ann Thomas was born at Syracuse, Nebraska, January 25, 1897, and died at the hospital in Geneva, January 22, 1926, at the age of twenty-nine years, lacking three days. While yet an infant, her parents moved to Fillmore County and made their home near Geneva. She attended the country school and also went some to school in town. She was married to Lewis C. Souba at Hastings, Nebraska, August 14, 1914. For a time, they lived with Mr. Souba’s parents, and then set up housekeeping at Geneva. After this they moved to Lincoln, but came back to the farm in 1917. They had lived on the farm since. There were born to Mr. and Mrs. Souba four children, one dying in infancy, the others, two boys and one girl are Lester, age ten, Donald age eight, and Maxine age six. Mrs. Souba was a member of the Royal Neighbors, and the West Blue Ladies Aid Society. She was a good neighbor and friend to all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, three children; father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Riley Thomas of Denver, Colorado; four brothers and four sisters. The brothers are, Cleo Thomas of Shanghai, China; Elmer of San Pedro, California; Walter and George of Denver, Colorado; the sisters are: Mrs. Victoria Dudgeon of Trinidad, Colorado; Mrs. Betheen Merrill of Craig, Colorado and Rosetta and Marjorie of Denver. Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church at Fairmont, Sunday afternoon, at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. V. C. Wright, the pastor and the body buried in the Geneva Cemetery.
