Read More	Sarah Ann Templin Peck Dec 24,1874-Jan 18,1958 Services Held For Former Palmer Lady - Mrs. Charles Peck passed away in her sleep early Saturday morning, Jan. 18 at the Imperial Community Hospital. Sarah Ann Templin, daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Templin, was born December 24, 1874 near Palmer, Nebr., and passed away January 18 at the age of 83 years and 25 days. Her parents filed on the first homestead recorded in the Grand Island office in the year 1871. At an early age she became a member of the Christian Church at Palmer and later joined the Methodist Church at Grant. On February 26, 1896 she was united in marriage to Charles B. Peck at the Methodist Church in Palmer. To this union five children were born, the eldest of whom, an infant daughter, preceded her mother in death. Mrs. Peck's parents, a sister Mary and a brother Edward, also preceded her in death. In 1919 they moved to Grant, living on a farm until retiring in 1940, at which time they moved into Grant. Mr. and Mrs. Peck celebrated their 50th anniversary in 1946. Survivors include her husband, Charles; two sons, Edward C. and Wallace O., both of Grant; two daughters, Grace E. of Palmer and Ruth A. Eppler of Laramie, Wyo.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves one brother, Curtis Park Templin of Chugwater, Wyo, and many other relatives and friends.
