Kellogg was born at Maquoketa, Jackson county, Iowa, October 21, 1858, and died at Arnolds Park Iowa, July 18, 1928, aged 69 years, 8 months and 27 days. Her maiden name was Miss Belle Viall and was the second of four children. On July 2, 1878 she was married to Arthur W. Kellogg at Miles, Iowa. They came to Humboldt county in the spring of 1880. Kellogg was born at Maquoketa, Jackson county, Iowa, October 21, 1858, and died at Arnolds Park Iowa, July 18, 1928, aged 69 years, 8 months and 27 days. Her maiden name was Miss Belle Viall and was the second of four children. On July 2, 1878 she was married to Arthur W. Kellogg at Miles, Iowa. They came to Humboldt county in the spring of 1880. Three children were born to them; Maude, Neva and Mattie. In young womanhood she accepted Christ as her personal saviour (sic), joining the Methodist church. She was a member of the M. E. church at Gilmore City for some years. Later she transferred her membership to the Bradgate M. E. church. She was preceded to the heavenly home by her father, mother, infant sister and brother. There remains to mourn her loss, her husband, A. W. Kellogg; three children, Mrs. Maude Tilton of Bradgate, Mrs. Neva Wagoner of Hanlontown and Mrs, Mattie Malcom of Ames; six grandchildren, Mrs, Irma McCreay of Perry, Ia, Mrs. Leone Rynkiewitz of Ames, Ia., Carvel Malcom of Lancaster, Pa., Ferris Malcom of Ames, Kenneth Wagoner of Hanlontown; two great grandchildren, Harvey LaSeur and Betty Rynkiewitz, and a sister, Mrs. Frank Wilson of Anacortes, Wash., and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church, Rev. C. E. Van Horn of the Baptist church officiating and internment took place at the Avery twp. cemetery at Gilmore City. Relatives from away who attended the funeral services were; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kellogg and daughter, and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Kellogg of Arnolds Park and L. L.
