Description	:	Sarah Brown was born in Crawford Co., Pa., June 1, 1832; was married to John Dillivan June 28, 1852. To this union, six children were born, five of whom are living: Jerry Dilivan and Mrs. Darr, of Glidden, Ia.; Mrs. a. P. Gibson, of Galberth, Iowa; Miss Dillivan of Lake City, and and Fannie Sherman of Fort Dodge; John Dillivan died March 1, 1864, in Carroll Co., Ia. Read More	Sarah Brown was born in Crawford Co., Pa., June 1, 1832; was married to John Dillivan June 28, 1852. Afterwards, his widow married Enos Butrick and to this union two children were born; W. K. Butrick and Mrs. Jos. Oxenford, both of Lake City. In June 1883, she was married to John Oxenford and came to Jackson township where she resided until her death, Oct. 18, 1909. She has been a great sufferer for the past year, through all of which she was patient until the end. All of the living children were at her bedside more or less during the sickness. She leaves to mourn their loss, besides her children, seven great grandchildren and thirty-two grandchildren. The funeral was at the Cottonwood church, Tuesday, the 19th. Rev. Henry B. Burns, of Trinity Church, Lake City, officiating. A quartette consisting of Dr. and Mrs. D. W. McCrary, Miss Florence Losse and Leta McCrary furnished suitable music. The last offices were attended by a large concourse of friends and neighbors.
