Description	:	Mrs. Sarah Lindsay Called By Death Death ended the sufferings of Mrs. Sarah Lindsay on last Monday morning at 7:20 a.m., after an illness of six weeks duration, following a stroke of paralysis. Mrs. Lindsay had not been well for a number of years and the end was not at all unexpected. Extreme sorrow was cast over the entire community when word was spread that she had gone. Sarah C. Wharton was born in Johnson county, Indiana on Nov. 18, 1848 and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Will Burt, east of Creighton on Monday, April 5, 1926. She was united in marriage to George Lindsay on May 28, 1865 at Center Grove, Ia. To this union ten children were born, two dying in infancy. They came to Nebraska in the spring of 1880 and located at Oakdale, Nebr. About twenty-five years ago they removed to Creighton, where they have since made their home. She was the last of a family of thirteen children. The deceased was a life-long member of the Methodist church, having united with that denomination in childhood. She also was a member of W.R.C. Relatives to mourn her loss are one daughter, Mrs. Will Burt, Creighton and seven sons, Harv and John Lindsay of Creighton; Frank Lindsay, Los Angeles, Calif.; Geo. Lindsay, Mt. Vernon, Wash.; Charles Lindsay, Fort Dodge, Ia.; James Lindsay, Wood, S.D. and Albert Lindsay, address unknown. Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Thursday) afternoon from the Methodist church, in charge of Rev. Littrell at 2 o'clock p.m. The remains will be laid to rest in the Greenwood cemetery, beside her husband, who passed on a number of years ago.
