Description	:	Sarah Catherin Fetty daughter of Zach and Eliza Fetty was born in Decatur County IA, on September 22, 1876 and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lee Doolittle, in Davis City, on April 9, 1958, the age of 81 years, 6 months and 17, days. February 1, 1893, she was united in marriage with William Fox and to this union were born three sons, Everett, Johnnie and Thomas and one daughter, Hazel. February 1, 1893, she was united in marriage with William Fox and to this union were born three sons, Everett, Johnnie and Thomas and one daughter, Hazel. She was baptized into the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on January 20, 1895 in the Greenville neighborhood and remained faithful until her death. She lived her entire life on the farm near Davis City where she was born until six years ago when she became ill and was taken to the home of her daughter. She loved the farm and was a hard worker and a good neighbor. She remained patient and cheerful during her years of Illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother and two sons, Everett and Johnnie. She is survived by one son, Thomas, of near Davis City, her daughter, Mrs. Lee Doolittle, of Davis City;three grandsons, William Fox of Aurora, IL, Donald Fox of Davis City and Dale Fox of Iowa city; one great-granddaughter, Janet Sue Fox of Aurora, IL; one half-brother, Jess Fetty of Pamona, KS; three half-sisters, Mrs. Schley Burns of Pamona, KS, Lydia Warner of Coachella, CA and Catherine Brown of Walla Walla, WA and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the RLDS church in Davis City, conducted by the Slade Funeral Home of Leon with Wilber Pratt of Lamoni, speaker, assisted by Robert Ballentyne.
