This is only a guess, my guess. But going by the research, John Warren Carrigan & Octavia C Kennard had a child on 27 January 1849 but she/he died the same day. Then George Theodore Carrigan was born on 25 October 1951 but died one year later. Both infants are buried at Elizabeth Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Sumter County, Alabama. There are also numerous of Alexander's with no dates buried at the same Cemetery. So just maybe, one or both of Sarah's parents are buried there. Who knows, but Sarah Elizabeth Alexander was raised by the Carrigan's. Then we see Sarah living with Andrew Carrigan in the 1870 which is John Warren Carrigan's brother.
