Burial will be in Le Mars Memorial cemetery under the direction of Mauer's funeral home. Mrs. Hodgson, the former Sarah Allison, was born June 3, 1891, near Le Mars. She was married to William F. Hodgson on Feb. 24, 1915, at Le Mars. They lived on a farm in Stanton township until 1946 when they retired to Le Mars. She was a member of the First Methodist church and active in the Women's Society of Christian Service until her illness. Mrs. Hodgson was preceded in death by her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. John Allison; two brothers, John and Oscar, and one sister, Mrs. Henry Remer. Survivors, besides her husband, are on son Richard; three grandsons, Gerald, Rodney and Terry; one sister, Mrs. George Bowers and one brother, Arthur Allison, all of the Le Mars community.
