Description	:	LINCOLN - Sarah Eudean Lehn, 92, of Lincoln died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, Lincoln. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in the Elba Cemetery, Elba. Eudean Lehn daughter of Ernest and Sarah Vogt was born Oct. 24, 1920, in Esparto, Calif. At an early age, she moved with her parents to a farm west of Elba. She received her education in the Elba Public Schools and graduated in 1939. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, Lincoln. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in the Elba Cemetery, Elba. Eudean Lehn daughter of Ernest and Sarah Vogt was born Oct. 24, 1920, in Esparto, Calif. At an early age, she moved with her parents to a farm west of Elba. She received her education in the Elba Public Schools and graduated in 1939. Eudean attended Kearney Teachers College for one year and taught in District 27, 11 and Elba Public Schools. She married Donald Lehn of Scotia on Oct. 21,1944. She continued teaching while Don was in the Marine Corps. She was a homemaker for many years. When the family moved to Kearney in 1959, she returned to Kearney State College and received her Bachelor of Arts in Education and taught several years in the public schools around Kearney. The family moved to Lincoln in 1970. She attended LPN School and worked at Tabitha Home for 15 years. She retired from Tabitha Home and enjoyed many happy retirement years. Eudean was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Auxiliary, Danish Sisterhood and a life member of Kearney Alumni Association. She is survived by her husband Donald; two sons, Denton Lehn of Monument, Colo., and James Lehn of Lincoln; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Vogt and sister, Fern Zavitka. Published in The Grand Island Independent on January 11, 2013
