Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Friday morning from St. Peter's Church, Westernport, with interment in the church cemetery." "The Herald" (Piedmont, W. Va. ), Thursday 3 December 1931: "Mrs. Sarah McCamley Kelly, wife of James F. Kelly, retired B. & O. engineer died at 4:45 o'clock Tuesday at her home on West Hampshire street. She had been ill since May with a complication of diseases. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary, having been married at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Westernport on 11 September 1881. Following their marriage they went to housekeeping in Keyser, but have resided in Piedmont the past forty years. Ten children were born to them. Eight survive, namely John F. Kelly and Francis D. Kelly, Rochester, N. Y; Clay A. Kelly, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Martin Sweeney, Weston, W.Va.; Joseph Leo Kelly, Washington, D. C.; William Kelly, Mrs. D. A. Bissett and Francis Kelly, Piedmont, and Dr. Ligouri Kelly, Westernport. Lieutenant James Kelly, a son, was killed in active service oveseas during the World War, and Miss Marguerite Kelly died several years ago. There are twenty-three grandchildren. Mrs. Kelly was one of the Gold Star Mothers who made the pilgrimage to France in the summer of 1930. Four sisters and a brother survive, Mrs. John J. Burke, Keyser; Mrs. Stephen King, Cumberland; Mrs. Margaret Ayers, Concil Bluffs, Iowa; Mrs. George Sloan, Baltimore; and Daniel McCamley, Dubuque, Iowa." "The Herald" (Piedmont, W. Va. ), Thursday 10 December 1931: "Funeral serives for Mrs. Sarah McCamley Kelly, aged 70 years, Gold Star member, wife of James F. Kelly, a retired B. & O. engineer, were held last Friday morning at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Westernport. Solemn High Requiem Mass was said with Rev. A. Scarpati as celebrant, Rev. Russell Phelan as deacon and Rev. J. A. Soucy as subdeacon. Rev. Patrick Morahan of Keyser, was in the sanctuary. William Kelly, a grandson was master of ceremonies. Warren Thompson and James Kelly, also grandsons, were acolytes, and Edward and Charles Pendergast were censor bearers. During the service Mrs. Edward Pendergast sang ‘He Will Wipe the Tear from Every Eye.' Interment was in the parish cemetery. The active pallbearers were James Niland, Ignatius Niland, Vincent Kelly, John Kelly, Charles Kelly and Desales King. The honorary pallbearers were sixteen members of Kelly-Mansfield Post No. 52, American Legion Among those who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Kelly and Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Kelly, Rochester, N. Y.; Mrs. M. F. Sweeney, Weston, W.Va.; Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Kelly, Washington, D. C.; Mr. and Mrs. John Burke, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Williams, Mary C.
