She moved with her parents to Richardson County in 1881 (should read 1854) On Jan 14, 1872 she was united in Marriage to Manford Herbet Freel who preceded her in death, having passed away in 1940. In 1886 with her husband she moved to the Liberty Vicinity. On Thursday Jan 14, 1937 they had the unique experience of celebrating the 65th anniversary of their marriage. This happy occasion was observed by the gathering together of twenty-six relatives and friends into their home to partake of a dinner in their honor and a to greet them on their having spent a long period of life in happy Bliss. In 1893 she united with the Pleasant Hill Christian Church and remained faithful to her Christian profession of faith until the end of her earthly life. She took great interest in the activities o the church, giving aid assistance to her beloved husband who served on the building committee of the church and as an elder until he passed away. Having no children of their own, Mr. and Mrs. Freel were kind enough to open the door of their home for the rearing of many children, the following having preceded their foster (adopted) mother in death: Emmett Freel, Verna Freel Main, and those surviving are Mattie Freel Jones of California, Alex Freel of Richardson county, Mrs. Ella Freel Main of Pleasant Hill, Lenard Main of Oregon, and Mrs Genevieve White of Twin Falls, ID., also two brothers and one sister. She leaves to mourn her passing two brothers. Ambrose Main of Valentine, NE and Avery Main of Liberty vicinity, and one sister , Mrs Clara Prine of Livingston, Calf., and many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends that she has made through fellowship in a devoted Christian home and among good neighbors. There is only a curtain between us. They whom the call dead have not left us. Nay, they were never so near. Not dead, but promoted. They have entered the order above, and there near the smiles of the Master They will finish the labor of love. Funeral services conducted at the Pleasant Hill Christian Church 2:30 PM., Jan 12 (1941) by Harold L Blackburn, pastor. Burial in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
