AUGUST MEYER Mrs. August Meyer died at her home in the north addition at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon and the funeral was held this afternoon. She had been married but a few months. As the leaves fall and lie upon the ground, so are our hearts made heavy by affliction. Our hearts are made sad when a loving wife is taken by death from the embrace of her husband, and so today a neighbor is left alone, therefore it is with heartfelt sorrow that we are called to announce that death has invaded the home of neighbor August Meyer and taken from him, his beloved wife. Therefore, be it Resolved, That in her death our neighbor has lost a true and affectionate wife and the community a noble woman, whose chief object in life was to do good. Therefore, be it Resolved, That we as members of Waterloo Camp, No. 2,059, M. W. A., sympathize with neighbor Meyer in sad bereavement, but remember neighbor behind the dark cloud, there is a silvery light, though you may never behold her again in this world, you will meet her in the world beyond.
