Description	:	Sarah, the first child of Peter Robinson by his first wife Mary Manter, b. at Tisbury on Martha's Vineyard, then part of the Province of New York, now Dukes County, Mass. The 1925 Robinson Genealogy claims she was b. May 5, 1688. Because Sarah's maternal grandmother was Martha Lumbert, the memorialist believes Sarah was possibly the namesake of her paternal grandmother, Peter Robinson's unidentified mother. On Nov. 15, 1725 at Windham, Conn., Sarah m. as his second wife, Hezekiah Mason, s. of Daniel and grandson of Maj. John Mason of 1633 Pequot Indian War fame. Hezekiah had nine children by his first wife, Ann Bingham, who d. at Windham Aug. 2, 1724. Hezekiah d. Dec. 15, 1726, less than ten months into his second marriage. There are no known children by Sarah (Robinson) Mason. Sarah was still the widow Mason in early 1740 when she is called "Sarah Mason" in her father's will. By tradition, Sarah died in about 1754 at the Scotland Society section of the Town of Windham, Conn. The writer has associated Sarah with the Palmertown cemetery, where her long-time stepmother Experience (Lumbert) Robinson has been interred since 1727 and where there are many broken, deteriorated and otherwise missing gravestones. On the other hand, the original north section of the Scotland Village Cemetery is where her father and numerous half-siblings are interred. Unfortunately, Sarah has no specific death entry or gravestone of record and the original north portion of the Scotland Village Cemetery is not part of the Hale Connecticut Cemetery database.
