Description	:	Sarah Royall Hamlin, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and widow of Osgood Andrew Hamlin, entered into eternal rest early on the morning of September 1, 2007. She was born August 23, 1908, daughter of Emily DuPre Royall and Lee Royall. She was the widow of Osgood Andrew Hamlin, was raised two doors away from him in Mt. Pleasant and they were married for 65 years. She attended local schools and graduated from Murray Business School. She worked for the Diocese of SC, putting out the Diocese newspaper for many years. She was survived by her son, John Edward Hamlin; daughter, Laura Hamlin Thornton; granddaughter, Sarah Thornton Mims and her husband Ryan; and her great-grandchild, Kayley Ryan Mims. She is also survived by brother, Jervey DuPre Royall, sisters Anne Bailey Royall and Sue Royall Horton.
