Description	:	Highland Recorder April 26, 1935 For the third time within about two year s the death angel came to this home and called away a loved one. The first one to be taken was a precious mother, Mrs. Albert Simmons, daughter of Mrs. Hinkle. Eighteen month s later the father (Albert Simmons) was called and nine months later on April 16, the grandmother too passed away. Death was due to cancer and heart dropsy. The deceased was the wife of the late E. S. Hinkle. She lived to the ripe old age of 90 years and 24 days.... The deceased was the wife of the late E. S. Hinkle. She lived to the ripe old age of 90 years and 24 days. She leaves to mourn her loss one sister, Mrs. Mary S. Moyers, two brothers, Stuart and Jonathan Nelson, and nine grandchildren, namely: Ralph, Sylvia and Rhoda Simmons, with whom she made her home, Mrs. Fred Wimer, Durbin, W. Va., Mrs. Dennis Mikesell, Hinkle, Ray, Goldie and Beulah Simmons of Hershey, Pa. She also leaves three great-grand-children and a host of relatives and friends. The funeral service was conducted at the house by Rev. H. J. Womeldorf. She was laid to rest in the family graveyard beside her husband. She was a life long member of the U. B. church. Mrs. Hinkle had suffered greatly for three years, but with all her suffering she bore it patiently and was ready and waiting for god to relieve her of all her suffering. She had been in this home for many, many years and will be greatly missed by everyone, especially by the grandchildren who have patiently nursed her since the death of their mother.
