Description	:	Mrs. J. D. Coder passed away at her home at Loretto at six oclock Monday evening. For the past two or three years she had been confined to her home most of the time. On last November 14th she sustained a fall and since that time has been an invalid. Foote at Galesburg, Illinois in 1883, moving immediately to Butler county, Nebraska, where they resided for a year and then moved to... Read More	Mrs. J. D. Coder passed away at her home at Loretto at six oclock Monday evening. For the past two or three years she had been confined to her home most of the time. On last November 14th she sustained a fall and since that time has been an invalid. Sarah Tomelson, eldest of eight children and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Tomelson, was born May 7th, 1853, in Ontario, Canada. She was married to George N. Foote at Galesburg, Illinois in 1883, moving immediately to Butler county, Nebraska, where they resided for a year and then moved to Webster county. Here they lived for 11 years, moving then to Loretto which was her home until her death. Mr. Foote preceded her in death, April 8th, 1915. To this union three sons were born, Cecil G., of Jay-Em, Wyo., Victor, of Kimball, Nebraska, and Russell of Torrington, Wyo. On April 18, 1918, she was married to J. D. Coder of Loretto. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, J. D. Coder, her three sons, Cecil, Victor and Russell, and their wives; twelve grandchildren; two brothers, Henry and Victor Tomelson and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Robinson and Mrs. Ollie McTaggert, all living at Point Huron, Mich.; Mr. Coders four children, Ralph of Alliance, Earl of Omaha, Mrs. Myrtle Edens of Primrose, and Edith Kronkright of Litchfield, and a host of friends. Mrs. Coder united with the Methodist church many years ago and has been a faithful worker, willing at all times to do her part. Possessed of a friendly way, she attracted all who were privileged to know her. Funeral services were held at the home at two oclock Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Joseph Stopford, and interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery at Albion. (Albion Weekly News Albion, Nebraska October 19, 1933)
