The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the First United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Ronald C. Gustafson officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memory Garden. He was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge at Wessington, Yelduz Shrine and Consistory at Aberdeen. Survivors include his widow, Mary, Huron; two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Alice) Hohenthaner, Yankton, Mrs. Marvin (Carol) Boyer, Blairsburg, Iowa; three sons, Eugene S., Columbia S.C., Dr. Bruce A., Rapid City and Paul, Sioux Falls; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Arthur, Woodburn, Ore.; and one sister, Mrs. Joe (Edna) Sobolewski, Glen Burnie, Md. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Guy, Glen and Frank, Granddaughter, Martha Hohenthaner and three sisters, Hattie Williamson, Inez Lowrie and Ruth Westby.
