Description	:	Scott left his beloved wife Theodora (Teddy) and his home early in the morning on December 26, 2004, to be with our Lord in Heaven. Scott was born on March 20, 1924, to his parents, Scott Winfield Wilkins and Lillian Mae (Pritts) Wilkins in Hiawatha Valley (West of Moses Lake). Read More	Scott left his beloved wife Theodora (Teddy) and his home early in the morning on December 26, 2004, to be with our Lord in Heaven. Scott was born on March 20, 1924, to his parents, Scott Winfield Wilkins and Lillian Mae (Pritts) Wilkins in Hiawatha Valley (West of Moses Lake). He graduated from Hiawatha Grade School and then graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1941. To further his education, he went on to Washington State University where his education there was interrupted when he enlisted in the U.S. Army in June 1943. He served in the Army Signal Corps in the pacific theater; in Okinawa, the Phillipines, and the Army of Occupation in Sapporo, Japan. After his discharge in February 1946, he returned to Moses Lake, WA, and then back to Washington State University where in June 1948, he graduated with honors in electrical engineering. Immediately after graduation he accepted employment with the General Electric plants in the Eastern United States. When he was employed in the small motors division in Fort Wayne, Indiana, he met is wife Theodora (Teddy) Neds. They were married on July 1, 1949, in Paulding, Ohio (Teddy's home town). Shortly after their marriage, they moved to Schenectady, New York, where they were employed in the gas turbine division. In 1950, Scott returned with his bride to Washington State where they were employed in the civil engineering department at Larson Air Force Base, Moses Lake, WA. After the base closure in 1966, they farmed in Hiawatha Valley raising mainly cattle and hay. In 1980, after selling their ranch, they moved to Phoenix, AZ where Scott was employed as the senior energy conservation engineer for the city of Phoenix. He retired in 1990, and they moved to Show Low, AZ and then back to Washington State in 1998, and settled in Wenatchee. Scott and Teddy became members of the Word of Life Church in Show Low, AZ. Scott leaves behind his wife Teddy; one son, Paul William Wilkins; granddaughter, Lindsay Toya; great-granddaughter, Ashtyn Toya; grandson, Jesse Paul Wilkins all of Moses Lake; a niece, Cynthia Taylor of Kennewick, WA; two nephews and families, Curtis Wilkins of Vancouver, WA and Clair Wilkins of CA. Scott's parents and older brother, Arthur preceded him in death. A memorial service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park on Thursday, December 30, 2004, at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Jones & Jones Funeral Home.
