Description	:	Scott "Scotty" H. McRill, 75, of Findlay and formerly of Vanlue, passed away at 9:08 p.m., Sunday, April 24, 2022, at the Manor at Greendale, Findlay. He was born on May 25, 1946, in Findlay to the late Mark W. and Ruth M. (Cole) McRill. He married Janice Alspaugh on November 22, 1972, and she survives. Scotty is also survived by his daughter, Shannon McRill of Las Vegas, NV; son, Joshua McRill of Findlay; brothers: Lanny C. McRill of Grosse Pointe Park, MI and Dane A. McRill, 75, of Findlay and formerly of Vanlue, passed away at 9:08 p.m., Sunday, April 24, 2022, at the Manor at Greendale, Findlay. He was born on May 25, 1946, in Findlay to the late Mark W. and Ruth M. (Cole) McRill. He married Janice Alspaugh on November 22, 1972, and she survives. Scotty is also survived by his daughter, Shannon McRill of Las Vegas, NV; son, Joshua McRill of Findlay; brothers: Lanny C. McRill of Grosse Pointe Park, MI and Dane A. McRill of Owosso, MI; grandson, Zachary McRill. Scotty retired from Ball Metal Corporation in 2001. He was also the owner of Scotty's Subs attending many county fairs and community gatherings for 49 years, and loved the people and everything about the sub business during that time. He was a lifetime member of the Greater Ohio Showman's Association. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 29, 2022, at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, with his niece, Pastor Shalimar Holderly officiating. Burial will be in Van Horn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Patient Services and/or American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be expressed at www.coldrencrates.com.
