Wood Hofferber on July 3, 1960, at York, Neb., and passed away July 13, 1978, at Shickley at the age of 18 years and 10 days. He was one of two children in the family. He was residing at Cornhusker Farms near Shickley, previously with his parents in Geneva. He had been employed by Cornhusker Farms since September, 1974. HOFFERBER, SCOTT L.—Scott L. Hofferber was born to Robert Hofferber and Della M. Wood Hofferber on July 3, 1960, at York, Neb., and passed away July 13, 1978, at Shickley at the age of 18 years and 10 days. He was one of two children in the family. He was residing at Cornhusker Farms near Shickley, previously with his parents in Geneva. He had been employed by Cornhusker Farms since September, 1974. He was baptized in the Methodist church in infancy. He attended Geneva public schools and graduated in May, 1978. He leaves to mourn his parents, Robert and Della, also his brother Fred; two grandmothers, Ella Hofferber of Geneva and Vera Stebbins of Morrill, Neb.; aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Funeral services were conducted from the Farmer & Son funeral home in Geneva at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 15, with Rev. Woodrow W. Wilson officiating. Miss Susan Najmon sang, “How Great Thou Art” and “Beyond the Sunset” accompanied by Mrs. Norval Lomax. Pallbearers were Jim Boo, Jim Graham, Tom Hoarty, Phil Prater, Shane Schelkopf and Mark Wythers.
