Description	:	Obituary From "Ottumwa Courier," June 30. 1958: Mrs. Selma F. Nelson, 71, of 225 N. Sheridan avenue, died at the Ottumwa hospital at 12:15 p.m. Sunday following a short illness. The daughter of Swan Peter and Elizabeth Parson Anderson, she was born at Hiteman, June 18, 1887. She had lived in Ottumwa the past eight years and in Wapello county most of her life. The daughter of Swan Peter and Elizabeth Parson Anderson, she was born at Hiteman, June 18, 1887. She had lived in Ottumwa the past eight years and in Wapello county most of her life. She was married June 29, 1910 to Fred J. Nelson who died January 23, 1941. They had lived on a farm southwest of Ottumwa for many years before his death. She was a member of the First Lutheran church. Surviving are two sons, Marvin S. Nelson of Ottumwa and Laurnie W. Nelson of Lancaster, Mo.; a daughter, Mrs. Marie E. Cooper of Newton; eight grandchildren and three brothers, Albin E. Anderson and Hervey Anderson of near Ottumwa and Carl L. Anderson of Ottumwa. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ernest. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the First Lutheran church in charge of Allen Ingebritsen, pastor's assistant. Burial will be in the Shaul cemetery. The casket will remain at the Johnson funeral chapel until noon Tuesday when it will be taken to the church and closed at the beginning of the service.
